DONATIONS

All donations are allocated directly to the educational projects and to the bursary recipients. As a testament to its commitment to accountability, authenticity and modesty, Acceso International seeks to reassure its supporters that operating costs associated with its projects are covered by the generosity of Acceso International's founder, her supportive family, the volunteers and corporate sponsors, and through designated fundraising events. HOW TO DONATE

By Cheque/Credit Card: Please make your cheque payable to Acceso International and send it to the address listed below. Please provide your name, full address and phone number for tax credit. For credit card payments please call (613) 831-9158. When you donate directly to ACCESO International, 100% of the amount donated will be allocated to our projects.

On-Line: Donate using a secure payment system at canadahelps.org. Please note that a small portion of your donation (3%) is used by Canada Helps to cover credit card merchant rates, transaction fees, banking costs, receipting, reconciliation and disbursement.

At Work: If you contribute to the United Way through your workplace, then you can direct your contribution to Acceso International. Just contact your local organizing committee or call the United Way of Canada at (800) 267-8221 local Ottawa:(613) 236-7041 to set this up. You will need to specify ACCESO International, Charitable Organization #89229 1501 RR0001. Please note that a portion of your donation will be used by the United Way to help cover their costs.

CREATIVE WAYS TO SUPPORT ACCESO INTERNATIONAL

HOW YOUR DONATIONS HELP

• $5000 provides an entire high school with writing supplies, textbooks, classroom resources, a subsidized daily lunch program and new library books.
• $3000 provides an entire primary school with basic classroom supplies including chalk, exercise books, writing materials, as well as, new library books.
• $1000 provides a bursary for a university student to help defray the costs of tuition, transportation, accommodation and nourishment.
• $500 provides a bursary for a post-secondary student studying in a technical or trade school.
• $300 provides assistance for a community or school library to purchase encyclopaedias, resource textbooks, dictionaries and children's story books.
• $250 provides a bursary for a high school student to help cover the costs of a uniform, shoes, supplies and a daily lunch program.
• $150 provides a bursary for a primary level student to help cover the costs of a uniform, shoes, school bag, and basic supplies.

With your donations, Acceso International can add 'colour' to the daily routines of the sponsored schools. The children not only benefit from basic educational materials, but they are also able to enjoy colouring pencils and markers, as well as, classroom decorations, interactive and stimulating learning tools, and coloured construction paper, all of which many of these children have never had the pleasure to use.

Because as a Canadian, my education was all paid for. Others may work just as hard, but they do not have the same access to schools.”

As a donor, you are invited to indicate the country to which your donation will be directed and to identify your sponsorship preference regarding not only the gender of the student recipient, but also their level of education (primary, secondary or post-secondary).
