The Sounds and Tastes of the Americas

Our primary fundraising event, the Sounds & Tastes of the Americas, will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Ukrainian Hall, 1000 Byron Ave. with host Adrian Harewood (CBC News) and auctioneer Lawrence Greenspon. Over 300 guests will be treated to the tantalizing tastes of Latin American and Caribbean cuisine and be able to bid in our silent and live auctions which feature over 150 donated items, many of which originate in our project countries. The evening also features music and dance performances. To date, this event has raised over $275,000 in support of our projects. Attendance and revenues often exceed our expectations and we are grateful to our guests, donors, corporate sponsors and volunteers who help make this event such an incredible success!
